Our mission is to create a community to promote wholeness, life-changing, and oneness with God through worship, teaching, and fellowship. We meet the needs of individuals with openness and acceptance, and see God in everybody, and beauty in everything.

Historical Perspective

New Creation Church was organized under the leadership of Dr. Ella V. Redfield, who was committed to beginning a new ministry in Montgomery County - a ministry "called to do a new thing".

New Creation held its first worship service, Sunday, December 4, 1994 at the Wheaton Presbyterian Church of Wheaton, Maryland. For nearly six years New Creation shared worship space with three other congregations at Wheaton Presbyterian Church. In a featured story, The Washington Post called this unique relationship "a church with four faces". Since its beginnings New Creation has increased in members, and has established ministries to meet the needs of the church and community. We are a God- focused congregation that encourages people to look inward and find God within themselves.
